Nothing But Thieves are the Southend five-piece that are at once thunderous yet delicate, raw yet methodical, they evoke the profound dynamics of music’s more creative imaginations.
Forming at school, Nothing But Thieves were soon spending time in the US at their management’s prompting before returning to the UK with a much clearer vision on the sound they wanted. Epic guitars and rippling synths highlight a thrilling, forward-thinking band. With lyrics patched together from flashes of inspiration and stimulated by the works of Bukowski and Crowley fused to mighty sonics, Nothing But Thieves are aiming for arenas and beyond.
Both recent singles “Ban All the Music” and “Itch” have picked up Hottest Record accolades on Radio 1, with the former going as far as the Radio 1 playlist.
The band have been tipped by iTunes, Spotify, XFM, Google Play, Napster, Amazon, and Ticket Web for 2015, and handpicked by Gerard Way and AWOL Nation to support their recent European dates. They supported George Ezra at the Brits show for War Child at the Electric in Brixton, performed at NME Awards show, toured with Darlia across the country, and have been added to a multitude of European Festivals including Reading & Leeds. Look out for their debut album out on RCA Records in August.
