Ali Eisa is a contemporary artist, educator and public programmer. His practice spans 10 years of collaborative and participatory work utilising sculpture, installation, performance, video and photography.
Often taking inspiration from informal and local economies, Eisa’s work explores how complex and challenging socio-economic issues - such as globalisation, migration and urban development - are located and experienced in our everyday lives.
He's taking part in Artist Village, a programme of new artworks created especially for the festival and Chalkwell Park.
